How long would a flight from Bluegrass Airport (Lexington, KY) be to London, England?
I'm going to the 2012 Summer Olympics and I need to know how long to plan on being on the plane.

You have tickets to the games- that's great news . No-one else has, or are you a competitor?? Sorry for the sarcasm, but if you come without tickets you will find some- but you may have to pay hundreds of dollars. You have to apply for the ticket on line. Hundreds of thousands of people already have, and we are all waiting to hear. ( yeah, me too) http://www.london2012.com/indexb.php Seriously- book your flight now, get a hotel within Transport distance from the main Stratford site ( if you are watching athletics), and sort out your trip now. Flights from the States take between 7 and 10 hours, but it does depend on where you fly from, and if you have to change flights at a domestic to international airport. Good luck.

I have tried getting a direct flight from my home here in London to Kentucky, in the past. Unless things have changed,I do not think that you can fly direct from Lexington to London(either Gatwick or Heathrow)or vice versa You will need to change either at Chicago (I once waited 6 hours for the connecting flight after an 8.5 hour flight) or a European airport-it all depends on the nationality of the airline. It is therefore very difficult to give you an accurate answer to your question.
